However I have seen a significant drop in bandwidth from approximately 10m distance from my router. When I'm running ethernet I get just about 60mbs down and 20mbs up which is expected when using a direct line. When switching to the wireless adapter my download went to 4mbs and my up stayed around 15mbs. I've used multiple wireless adapters, and there is always lost bandwidth when relying on wireless instead of wired, but I've never once had it be this drastic making it very difficult to use the wifi for the purposes I need it for.
